This is Mervin. He's an introvert.
He has a slight lisp that makes him a little self-conscious, so he spends a lot of time alone reading books and watching old movies. But now that his mom and dad limit his screen time, he's finally coming out of his shell. They encourage him to go outside and play with the neighbors—get some fresh air, swim in the lake, swing in the trees. Alongside his weekly speech therapy sessions, Mervin's also working with a personal coach on his social skills, like learning how to listen and also how much eye contact is too much eye contact. Now that they know him, everyone who hangs with Mervin agrees: he's the sweetest little 'booger they've ever met!
